Jamal Murray is a far, far better player than Micheal Cooper ever was and he’s in the HOF.

There has never been a time in the NBA with 2 passers as good as Luka and Jokic or 3 if you add Sengun. The stuff those guys do on a nightly basis is nuts.

No. No it’s not. Just pop in a tape and watch some of Pete Maravich’s highlights. Then you will know.

I'll submit another big. Arvydas Sabonis was a phenomenal passer.

I tend to agree, but Cooper also has 5 titles and 5 appearances on the NBA defensive team.
He’s also won 2 WNBA Titles as a coach and the HOF evaluates everything.
I’m fine with Jamal getting in if the Nuggets do go on a run. I’d just like for him to get into an all star game as well because of how good he is.

You are an idiot. But yo be fair…. Jayson Williams was a incredible ball handler and passer.

He helped them become HOF players…

Is Nikola Jokic the best passer in NBA history?
Don't watch NBA and never knew why this guy gets as much as talk as he does, but I can see it now. Dude is aware and has fun with it. Doesn't seem to be selfish and enjoys the "putting on a show"
On a separate note regarding one of those gifs, I wonder if the NFL is going to sue the NBA/Rockets for "stealing" the old Oilers look.

To be honest I’ve always thought from seeing Maravich’s highlights that he was simply a flashy passer.
If you look at his top passes in his career, they are all really cool, but in many cases the exact same result is reached by a simple bounce or chest pass.
Don’t get me wrong. He was obviously elite, I just think he’s been hyped up for being extra flashy

Maybe the best passing big man but hard to say who is the best passer ever

Averaging 26 Points, 12 Rebounds, and 9 assists on 60% shooting over the last 4 years also has a lot to do with it

Right, HOF in basketball is a wide net. It’s not even specific to your NBA playing career.

Yeah I've heard he has great numbers, but I just don't know what is good or not anymore in today's game. But seeing his type of play in those gifs is different and adds to his reputation.

He was better at covering up deaths and driving motorcycles.
Jason Williams on the other hand was an incredible ball handler and passer.

Aren’t you forgetting about the best to ever do everything even probably at age 48……LEBRON

quote:Is this a serious response? Weber was a good passing big, but Jokic is an all time passer, regardless of position. It's not even remotely close. Jokic has double Weber's assist total per 36. The NBA has averaged 23.75 assists per game during Jokic's career. It averaged 22.5 assists per game during Weber's career. Don't think that makes up for the discrepancy.
Him and Chris Webber are about equal. Jokic assist stats are inflated because of the era though
I mean just watch this career passing compilation from chris weber. That's a nice 4 minute video that includes a whole bunch of simple assists.
Now watch these 2023 passes from Jokic. He has one per night that's as good as Weber's all time best
Watch this compilation. He's Bird, Magic, and Jason Williams all in one. He's insane.
