How many OTers back into angled parking spaces?

A guy in an F-150 in front of me in a one way parking garage stopped, did a 3 point turn so that he was facing the wrong way (towards me), and backed into an angled space.
Not only did he have to completely turn around to pull it off, he also set himself so he’s facing the wrong direction when he pulls out.
This is the 2nd time I’ve seen this recently and think it might be the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen anyone do unironically.

Did he also back in too far or leave 3 ft of the truck sticking out?

It’s illegal. I hope they all get tickets.
Me and my rig back in to normal spots.

Some people in trucks don't know how to back out of spots so they do everything possible, no matter how stupid, to back into them.

Not illegal. It’s a rule of thumb.

He may have had something in the back that he didn't want seen/stolen.
Makes it harder on thieves when they can't open the tailgate.

Why wouldn’t they be able to open the tailgate?

I was backing in to face the exit pull off halfway up the ramp, jerk off!

Its.people that think their truck is bigger than it really is.
Was probably a 1500 or f150.

If he was in a parking garage, there's a good chance he was backing up against a wall.
I'm just making a wild guess, because I have done that before when I had my 4 wheeler in the back of my truck and need to go inside walmart. Back up against a light pole or whatever I could.

That actually makes some sense, I was thinking of an open parking lot. I once had a job that required travel to shady areas, overnight stays in less than nice motels, and a truck (camper top) full of tools. We would always back it up to a light pole at night when we were at the motel.

The rule of thumb is if you use a stick with a diameter smaller than your thumb you can legally beat the driver that park this way until you are either too tired to continue or the stick breaks.
Pro tip, use a green stick.

Not illegal in a parking lot. Illegal along a street though.

I park in a downtown garage with angled spots and see these fools erday...I understand it at plants and refineries for a quick getaway in an emergency. But angled parking..
.you would have to be stupid.
