Smart move by Hakeem.
Why remove Johnson from the speakership when Hakeem is passing the Dim agenda through the House courtesy Speaker Johnson, and Hakeem doesn't have to take the heat.

Replacing the loser Mccarthy was never going to be loss, because we were never winning with him.
You had a stronger SOH than you have today. Now the DEMs are running the show entirely.

I never subscribed to the flawed logic that we have to keep a terrible speaker because the next one might be worse. Keeping a loser around because you're uncertain of the future is always a losing proposition. I'll take the people willing to make a move over those too scared to make a change any day of the week.
muh fight in a nutshell
"we may have lost the battle AND the war, but we got to virtue signal toughness, which was the REAL victory"

Your way of thinking will always have a loser in the speaker's chair.
Being smarter > irrational aggression for virtue signaling purposes.

Do we actually think they'll ever tire of losing, though?

Idk why he’s simping for McCarthy
Nobody is simping for McCarthy, but the GOP was in a much better and stronger position with McCarthy.
KM sucked. The alternative that Gaetz created sucks more and empowers DEMs.

When your worldview permits another layer of the conspiracy to be added at any time, explaining away your failures, no.
Failure is just a reinforcement of being right (in the martyrdom of facing the overwhelming power of the malleable conspiracy against you).

Seems like he was bought. Saw a tweet he’s received about 500k from AIPAC

The persecution complex is strong with them. They enjoy being perpetual victims.

On that note, have you ever seen this?

I have. It's crazy how they've spent almost 9 years proving some of us correct.

I stumbled upon that doing research on cults (a personal hobby and I mean real cults). I was like...oh. There you go.

I believe it was early 2016 the first time I called one of them (might have been CptBengal) a cultist. At the time, it was mostly just the impression I had from how fervent they were in defense of Trump. Of course now we know how fricking spot on that has been over the years.

Hakeem's corporate overlords are telling him to support Johnson.
Posted on 4/30/24 at 11:09 am to DisplacedBuckeye
We can’t expect Trump to go scorched earth this time if we don’t let Biden win.
It will be different this time.

Reading any list of signs of a cult is eye opening based on the reality here.

It's about partisanship, which is just group identity at its heart.
Every thought, concept, talking point, conceptualization, etc. has to flow from that group identity.
That's why people who based their personal philosophies and preferred policies on internal things like values and ideas find it so strange.
