Imagine thinking requiring a state license to look at the clouds is a good idea.

Yea might work
Obviously I have a healthy distrust of the state being able to manage anything without it being a shite show as I'm sure you do as well so I'm hesitant

I think the eastern component of the movement will keep it out of OKC proper but could be wrong

Regulating storm chasers is like regulating bird watching, sure....the bird watching isn't as dangerous but no government should be telling people how to behave to that degree, when it comes to the natural world around them. Look inward. We, the viewing public, for lack of a better term, are to blame for everything like this. There would be no motivation to storm chase if there were no money/fame/clout/etc to be chased. It's our fault is what I'm saying.

Ponca City should be in a safe place now. This looks like a very dangerous storm.

Feel like that area of 35 has been flirting with it all day

Have had a most interesting day in North Texas. A lot of Weather Chasers; saw one tornado and numerous severe thunderstorms.
Traveled into the cells and along the squal line. Officiated a wedding in Seymour and traveled from and back to Wichita Falls... storms had an angry manner about themselves

What do you think about that line moving towards Moore? Should I be ready to run to the nearest overpass? There’s a juicy one right outside my hotel.

They likely trim off the backside as it moves but it is moving pretty slowly it seems

I’m trying to figure out how this is transpiring/going to transpire around the Tulsa metro. I keep waiting…waiting…some little storms have popped up in area but they’ve petered out or just remained non severe.
It was supposed to have already been popping off around here by now…

What the hell
It is because of how slow this is moving. It is going to be more of an embedded/spin-up threat.
Flash flooding is going to be an issue.
