You don't think it's common to put down unproductive/problematic animals on a farm or ranch?

Someone literally posted a statute showing this is common. You are no better than the idiot leftists who don’t wait for all the details to come out before you start making assumptions and passing judgement.

It isn't about what I think. Stay in the suburbs.

You posted this. It's what I responded to.

Y'all can keep making this bullshite claim, but it's wrong.

That isn't what you think?

It's not a bullshite claim. It is common to put down unproductive/problematic animals on a farm or ranch. You may feel like the practice is vile, but that's different from suggesting it's a bullshite claim that it's commonplace.

Not exactly the same thing, but I did have a neighbor poison my dog for stealing eggs.
I lived a pretty rural area. We had no fences, no highways anywhere close. Dogs just roamed the country side. One dog kept coming back home with a chicken egg in his mouth. I thought it was kinda crazy my dog would travel such a long distance with eggs in his mouth. One day my dog came home acting weird. Then he went into a seizure. Vet confirmed he’d been poisoned.
I didn’t get upset with my neighbors. It was my fault for letting the dog run wild. Hard lesson to learn.
Just last week a guy I work with shot his two German shepherds for mauling his horse’s legs. I thought it was shitty, but it does happen.

That doesn't mean anything.

It's common practice to put unproductive/problematic animals down on a farm or ranch. That doesn't change with where I reside.

It means a bunch of suburban soccer moms don't know shite about what happens on a farm or a ranch.

She's a moron, and so is anyone pretending that what she did is "common."

That's a hell of a lot different from someone shooting their own bird dog because they couldn't control it and it killed some chickens.

...and that's where the soccer moms pretending "it happens all the time" are trying to go.

I think that's my point. Soccer moms are oblivious to what happens on farms and ranches, where it's common to put down unproductive/problematic animals.

Don't think anyone has said it was wise for her to put this episode in her book.

Many/most have in fact said the opposite even while supporting her actions.

I don't care about that. She's obviously a moron.

You are the one making the soccer mom argument, DB.

I'm not suggesting it's right or wrong - and it was stupid for her to write about in any case. I'm suggesting that it's commonplace on farms/ranches, and it absolutely is.

We’d drown unwanted and unplanned pups from farm dogs and cats regularly.
