If you want to have a good day it's best not to think about it

This is where it pays to have good owners - Kraft would get him some money down the road and Ram would trust him to do so and would retire

Works best for us if he doesn't officially retire until after this next season because we have his bonus money prorated out for another few years. Even if he can't play, I think we see him on the roster all year.

Retiring next offseason saves us $18mil vs. the 2025 cap but we'll carry $11.5 mil in dead money in 2025 and $12 mil in dead money in 2026.

Is Ram basically looking like a no-go for the start of the season? If he is good to go though, how long does he last before going on IR?
