Truck Club Storage.

I travel a lot for work and need a way to lock my clubs up. I have a camper shell on the back, but anyone can look through the window and break in if they want. Looking for some type of weatherproof box I can mount or lock someway in the bed. I thought about a hard plastic travel case but thought the plastic would get all beat up.
Any ideas or suggestions?

For 90,000.00 Rivian has a nice compartment to store your clubs between cab and truck bed!

As long as it protects your clubs that's all that matters really. The airplane luggage/bag carriers can take a beating. I just carry mine in the back seat of the truck.

If Ram was smart they would just call it a “Golf Box” That’s all most truck buyers haul these days anyway.

This is what I do. They’ll slide all over the place in the bed.
There are some really nice drawer type tool boxes that would work, but damn they probably cost more than the clubs.

I've got a 2020 Ram and do the same thing, but mine rides under the back seat. I just wrap a towel around the exposed part my driver and 3w shafts at the top of the bag for a little extra protection, but that's it. Never had an issue.

i keep a bungee run across my bed and stick bag under it when i put them in there. no sliding this way. have a flat bed cover on mine. i don't keep them in there 24/7, but no problem for a few days here and there

Thanks for the replies.
Will either go with a plastic travel bag or an aluminum tool box that will hopefully work.

For those of you that use a hard plastic case for clubs, any recommendations on which one is sturdy and dust proof?

You gotta be careful about them getting too hot (if you are in the deep south).
I keep mine in the back seat of my truck but i take them out during the hottest months of summer.

This is just when I am traveling. I always have someone i am picking up and such, so when they are on the backseat its a bit of an issue. If its too hot they will eitther be in the truck or I will bring them into the hotel.

Airports can be brutal on hard plastic cases and the locks. I had a airline bust the locks on the one that I had.
I suggest a club glove carrier. It indestructible and what I use now.
When I travel, I take my (adjustable) woods head off and put then in my suitcase in the headcovers. Then I put the shafts upside down in my golf bag.

Would you say it’s better than the hard cases?
