Because vasectomies are considered a permanent form of birth control. She can temporarily take a pill, shot, iud, and the guys can't. Plus those have the highest rate of pregnancy protection.

After they are done having kids, the guy should get snipped. It is the safest and least invasive form of permanent birth control.

Thanks for the post, I have updated OP to clarify. Was working with the pretext that reversibility was expected to be a minimal concern.

He may be a different person by then. But, if he was that dumb at any point, it's best he doesn't reproduce. ESPECIALLY with a female that agreed and encouraged his dumb arse decisions
