I saw this thread and just went in this tirade. I understand not supporting Israel,I understand the position that they aren’t the “good” guys in this situation. But Palestine and Hamas hate the Jews and Americans just the same and wouldn’t mind at all if any of us died brutally. That’s not anyone a sane person would stick up for.

It is baffling to me that anyone would treat this as a “student” issue. They’re not high schoolers for Christ’s sake. This isn’t a learning moment for kids. These are grown adults who have violently taken over property. They should have been arrested immediately.

Our country simply gives too much freedom. People take it for granted. There’s many places in the world where you will be thrown in prison for many years for petty things like minor theft.

Good to see other students and civilians step up here.
They lost the right to claim it’s a peaceful protest. They are now violent agitators and should be dealt with accordingly.

I wish I would have known things were going down at Tulane this weekend. I definitely would have walked over there to check it out .
