Do you think the other fan bases are saying we got lucky on the scoring on beam?
Nah. It was obvious that these girls would not be denied. Even if we were a little over scored it wouldn't have mattered due to the margin we ended up with.

Do we get to take that Beam back to our practice facility and the PMAC to use next year?

Wasn't Aly.

They had four commentators at the beginning and they all picked different teams. The one who picked us was on the right of the screen. Pretty, light skinned black lady.

If the other teams knew anything about our last several meets, they’d know that beam had been one of our best events, besides floor.

Which is wild, because beam always had the reputation of being the hardest event.

I read it was literally the highest team beam score ever in the NCAA Championship Final.

that may have been the best beam rotation ever considering the stakes.

Could they bring the beam itself back to BR and put it in their trophy case as a momento?

It all fell into place after the scare of the 3rd rotation, two falls by Utah and clutch beams by the top 3 and our Best only needing a 9.685 made this exciting, nail biting, and victorious.
I’m no Gymnastics fan much, but I bleed P & G and no team deserves a Natty more. Now let’s dominate from here on out on what’s becoming known as SHIP UNIVERSITY!

I agree this women’s gymnastics team has some seriously tough mental strength. I am just wondering what the hell it would feel like flipping on a little beam with the natty on the line.
Whoever does their sports psychology needs to work with the baseball team and should get some serious credit.
