It appears you missed the rest of the post.

No worries, I'll help you out:

Are you really trying to compare Trump's refusal to participate in the complete joke primary debates with a general election debate?

That just seems....dumb

Nope.

There were no Democratic Primary Debates to back out of.

I don't think I was unclear at all.

Trump is a bitch for skipping the primary debates. His Loyalists bailed him out.

Ron comes off as the absolute SG nerd. With that said while he’s a nerd he clearly understands and conveys his knowledge of using government to achieve conservative ends.

He would have challenged Don on his cabinet appointments, abortion, and Covid response.

Vivek is an ideas guy and engaging speaker. He also is able to quickly articulate and respond on the fly.

Between the two Don would have had some issues. He’s not the same guy as 2016.

Trump made the calculation he has nothing to gain by engaging in the primary debate. Biden and his handlers are likely drawing the same conclusion about the general.

Negative. Biden declined to participate in several in 2020 ... you know .... "due to Covid"

I’m absolutely on board with voting for trump. Unless I’m dead or incapacitated I will be. But the dude also kinda refused to debate younger, smarter, quicker candidates.

frick Biden for doing this now but Trump kinda set precedent this election cycle.

Nope. Wrong again. Biden and Sanders were the only two candidates to participate in all 11 primary debates in 2020.

So Trump wants to debate a dementia patient but won't debate others? Not surprised. This back fired on him back in 2020 with that out of control first debate where Trump actually did more bad than good with voters.

Yep. Made to look like a fool by a guy that was already well on his way with dementia.

One of them is a contest held by a private entity to select the person that the organization wants to represent it on a ballot.

The other is an election between the only two viable candidates for the most important governmental office on the planet.

Don't spew abstractions to try and equivocate them.

Yep, but then he did good in the "third" debate, and surely would have trounced Joe in the canceled second debate (which was to focus on foreign policy).
