Primaries too.

Dont debate, youre not on the ballot.

I'd just assume we allow the people to decide who they can vote for.

Thats how we keep getting shitty incumbents that continue to destroy the economy.

Trump clearly thought he was owed my vote as a Republican and didn’t try to win my vote by being challenged on the issues in a debate.

He had his reasons.

Like being pro choice now.

He knew he would have a tougher road getting the nomination with his pro choice stance.

Now the precedent he set is backfiring on him.

Sad!

So all the incumbents running unopposed is due to letting the people decide who they can vote for?

I would like to see Pres. Trump attend one of xiden's* events and walk up on the stage while he is speaking and challenge him to debate right there on the spot..

Trump answers more questions about more topics than Biden does by a ratio of 100:1.
Biden not only refuses your interview he can't tell you his name without a prompt.

Trump didn’t have any serious candidates to debate in the primaries.

Surely you see the difference.

Why would he debate Trump? It’s a no win situation for him.

The consensus on the two debates that took place in 2020 between Trump and Biden was that Biden won both.

The consensus from who? Who's arse did you pull this make belief from?

OUCH. That stings...

A person with "leadership" would be a good leader, right?

Your thoughts on how important your vote is, is funny. You’re on the fringe.

Trump is going to win and you will completely melt down. Confirming you are a Biden guy.

Unless of course those questions come in the Republican primary.

Your candidate didn't threaten him enough to force him on stage.

You recognize this is true. That's why you were so frustrated by it. But, in the end, your candidate didn't earn the debate.

It doesn't have to be a constitutional requirement.

Voters themselves should absolutely demand debates.

The problem in the United States is that our media is so fricking awful that the debates appear more akin to an episode of College GameDay than a substantive policy debate. The moronic losers that host these things ask questions to further their own careers and the viewership of their employers. Total trash debate moderation with zero substance.

And don't even get me started on the ridiculous notion that debates should have a live audience acting like they are at a trashy high school pep rally.

Has Trump ever been treated fairly in a debate? Impartiality of the moderator is something that should be paramount. But, I don't think we've seen that once.

The voters in the republican primary overwhelmingly showed it wasn’t a concern of theirs.
