I’m not sure I believe that. Vermont is not really a hotbed of gun violence.
It's not true. He just made it up.

But is it true? Anybody have data they can link to support it? I wish James would have posted source data to make this more meaningful and bulletproof.

It's not true but it's not false.

CDC on gun deaths per 100,000

If you calculate by total deaths, the map isn't too far off. If you calculate by deaths per 100,000, i.e. how likely you are to get killed by a gun in a particular area, it's pretty much the same map, but the red is dangerous and the blue is safe.

effing dude. the blue is liberal world. not everything blue has 97% violence. not every dot in red has guns. not sure why I'm typing this bc it will go straight over your head too.

"Gun deaths" is a terribly idiotic statistic to use.

If the graph is correct (which I doubt it’s that extreme) those blue areas only have 3% of the gun population. I think you made a point you didn’t mean to.

You're missing the point.

When only criminals have guns in those blue zones ..... think about it.

What on Earth does this have to do with the point in the OP?

This should be funny.
