Indiana DT transfer, Philip Blidi, visiting LSU tomorrow

Veteran power 5 bodies at DT are sorely needed. Need depth right now, and it's better than trying to convert an offensive lineman. If we can find another Jordan Jefferson or two in the portal, that would be great. He doesn't have to be All-SEC out there, but we need quality experience and depth to plug holes and not get their shite pushed in.

That can be viewed two ways. One, he's performing well enough to outplay guys with much more DT experience. The other is that the DTs on the roster are so bad that the best option is converted OL
It's kind of like when LSU basketball had a tuba player starting at Center. Just because he was a starter on an SEC team didn't mean he was good. It meant that LSU had no other option.

I mean, there’s been nothing to suggest coming into the season that we had anyone on the roster at DT other than Guillory who has what it takes to be a decent SEC DT. Hope there is a huge surprise, but my hopes are on a couple of decent transfers.
