Stressful job. Raising small children.

I'm 39 and slowing down. I need to get back in the gym and lose some weight, but I'm so frickin tired at the end of every single day.

I just need like a little boost to give me the energy to get motivated to be more active. What you good baws taking for energy boosts?

I take one gas station boner pill in morning, and one in mid afternoon.

Get your Testosterone checked.

43 here, with a one year old, and a stressful job.
Been on injections for about a 6 months. Feel like I’m 20 again, and giving the wife the best 2 mins of her life, multiple times a day.

Eta: 43, not 44. You turn 40 and honestly forget your age.

Eat cleaner foods, get your testosterone checked, and start taking probiotics for gut health.

In addition to the sleep study and testosterone levels, have you thyroid checked as well.

Swing through West Memphis AR and pick up some high-speed chicken feed from the guy in the Dodge Chatger in the Flying J parking lot.

You’re still young.

It’s all about momentum. Cut out the inflammatory foods. Eat protein (.6-.8g/total body weight). 30g of fiber. Sleep at least 7 hours a night. Commit to a healthy lifestyle.

Start with a basic strength training program. Nothing too strenuous yet (GreySkull is good).

Walk 8k-10k steps a day. Get them throughout the day. A few ten minute walks here and there will get you close.

I bet you’ll feel a million times different in 2 months. You won’t need to take much else.

Just turned 62 and yeah, I've slowed down. However, I REALLY slow down if I don't exercise vigorously 4-5 times a week. I've cut back to just drinking on the weekends. Rarely use caffeine so can't recommend that. And yeah, no fastfood / pop / chips and focus on the proteins.

To your point, with young kids, when do you work out? If you can't do it in the evenings, then you have to get up earlier and do it first thing. Just a few weights and running (or an exercise bike, etc.) altogether for 45 mins will make a world of difference in your energy level. Plus if your kids see how important it is to you, they will mimic you ultimately.

Now go get started tomorrow and bump this thread back up in a couple of months to tell us how much better you feel.

-----------------------------------------------
So you are really looking for supplement advice? Or a drug or some such?

Yeah, If you don't do it the old fashioned way through effort and sacrifice, you will end up no better off than you are now. There's no magic potion.

You just gotta do it man. It sucks but it’s the only option. And try this before you get on any hormone therapy even if you’re a little low. I changed my routine and diet and my T levels went from a but low to quite a bit above average for my age.
