Do you understand the function of a lightning rod? If half of the media is hanging on MTG’s every word like HHTM is, then other republicans might have a chance to accomplish something, right?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think the word “easy” has appeared in any of my posts ITT.
Are you trying to act like she’s some brave warrior for saying stupid shite on cable news while also being one of the least productive members of congress (as defined by how many pieces of successful legislation they have sponsored, committee appointments that serve their district, etc)?
If so, I mean yea you got me. No one has approached me and said, “Hey, come pander to the dumbest segment of the Republican electorate and make them clap like seals despite doing nothing at all to advance their cause while collecting a six figure salary.” So in that sense I’m jealous of her. She has one of the easiest and cushiest jobs in the United States.

All she has to do is not be an attention whore. I have no issues with her voting record. How about we *gasp* engage the left and media substantively on the issues without devolving into total nonsense constantly?
Weird suggestion, I know. Aiming a campaign at the average American hasn’t been the goal for a long time, and everyone is worse off for it.
