You know the basic story.

i’ve read the book so i know the full story, but a movie adaptation is a movie adaptation of a book.
I cant talk about how good or bad it is without seeing it.

Except you can. Just a sample of movies and shows I did not see which objectively were trash.
Captain marvel. The marvels. Rings of power. Birds of prey. Madam Web. Indiana Jones five.

You can’t say something is objectively bad if you never saw it also saying a movie is objectively bad is a pretty asinine statement unless it’s The Room or Birdemic levels of shite. You’re literally an NPC

I just did. Movies & shows getting universally panned means exactly that.

Disney is so subversive.
Actually:
Chilean Reed Richards
British Sue Storm
American Johnny Storm
Jewish Ben Grimm
That's pretty diverse and most people are ok with it.
It is somewhat subversive, but not overtly so.
What is your definition of diversity? Only skin color matters? What metrics are we aiming for here?
When does the destruction of characters end? Is there an end?

Captain Marvel 78% critic rating and 45% fan (with review bombing)
The Marvels 62% critic rating and 82% fan rating
Birds of Prey 78% critic rating and 79% fan rating
Indiana Jones 70% critic rating and 87% fan rating
The only movie you listed that had terrible ratings is Madame Web so liked I said you’re an NPC

minus 1 or 2, every Marvel movie has sucked since End Game.

Plenty of good movies didn’t do well at the box office, using the box office as a metric as how good a movie is, is retarded. Also Captain Marvel made over a billion

This is why the fan reviews are so low for this one. Lots of people were tricked into thinking it would be relevant to Endgame just like lots of people were tricked into thinking Black Panther would be relevant to Infinity War.
The box office take for the Marvels sequel tells the tale.
Black Panther was actually a decent movie (unlike Captain Marvel, which sucked), and Chadwick Boseman's death created interest in how they would handle that, so it wasn't surprising for that sequel to do ok at the box office. If they try to do another one it won't be nearly as successful because Black Panther 2 was awful. Especially the shoehorning of Ironheart and the ridiculous Mexican Namor.

You mean the score that got review bombed so hard it caused RT to change its fan reviews to verified? Wasn’t it like thousands of one stars before the movie came out?

Oh cool more movies you didn’t watch but get told to hate

Let me be sure if I'm understanding your argument: they "fixed" the review system because they felt the fan reviews were fake, but the low fan score is still fake?
That's what you're going with?

There was no review bombing.

Lost money. The movie was trash. It made no sense. They swapped a male character just so they could have girl boss on girl boss action. Lost massively at the box office.

*Birds of Prey 78% critic rating and 79% fan rating
Barely made its money back. If we're to believe the numbers.
quote:
Indiana Jones 70% critic rating and 87% fan rating
Lost 100+ million. Possibly as much as 150 million.

That doesn't even make sense. Captain Marvel had a terrible fan rating, but you won't count that? Doesn't fit the narrative? All these movies lost or barely made any money, save for Captain Marvel. And the only reason that did well was because it was presented as a primer for what would happen in End Game. Possibly the single best release position in all of cinema history.
And this was a tiny sample. Doesn't include Rings of Power, or ANYTHING on D + , The Wicher, or a dozen other shows/movies at the very least.
*Saw and liked both Suicide Squad & The Suicide Squad. Really liked Harley Quinn in both.

you can’t use “lost money”
as proof a movie is bad when Captain Marvel made a billion fricking dollars.

100% I can! And I just did! If Captain Marvel was truly as popular as we're led to believe, then why did The Marvels fail so massively?
Was it because Brie Larson is an insufferable count?
Or that Ms. Marvel was the least seen series in all the MCU? Or that 'Proton' or whatever Black Girl Magic's name is this version was nothing but a side character on another mediocre D+ show?
I can feel the cope seething inside you.

What? Captain Marvel absolutely benefited from leading into one of the biggest culminations in movie history. The money was made on a false promise.
The others have great reviews from the few they appeal to, but obviously didn't resonate with much of society.
If they were good people would have gone. Even if fatigue was real, word of mouth would have resulted in a different box office outcome.
