Can you imagine sitting down to watch a MLB game on TV?

I tried to watch a game the other night and the ESPN crew was so boring I couldn’t watch it.

I watch at least 200 a year, pretty much every Braves. Miss maybe 10-15 and then watch Sunday night games.

I miss being a teenager staying up late watching the Braves vs the Giants on TBS

I quit watching after they went woke in 2020-21 with the rainbow bases and George Floyd bullshite.
Pulling the ASG out of Atlanta for Georgia passing common-sense voting legislation was the last straw.
Happy to be done with MLB and its been fun observing it become an unwatchable garbage product the last few years.
MLB killed itself.
And unlike with the steroid scandal, it wont recover.
It’s a regional sport now, like NHL. But unlike hockey, no one under 30 watches or cares.

I miss watching Cubs in afternoon on wgn, braves for a few innings on tbs, and cardinals on fox midwest, and flipping back between cards and braves.

Baseball broadcasts would be so much better if they actually zoomed out and showed the entire field between pitches. It would have been even more so important during the days of the shift.
But for some reason MLB TV producers love shoving the cameras up the nostrils of the batter and pitcher the entire game. I would watch more baseball if they stopped doing the constant closeups the entire game. I’d be happy seeing the centerfield cam for pitches and a camera on the second deck behind the plate showing the entire field between pitches.

I just flipped to the Reds/Phillies game, only lasted 5 minutes. Absolutely brutal.

I have it on (braves); don't necessarily watch every pitch. No one watches every pitch btw, you may be too dumb to understand everything.

Yes, watched every 2016 Cubs regular and postseason games along with the majority of spring training games.

And seeing SF fans in the stands with jackets on and some bundled up in the middle of summer made me always wish we had summer nights like that in the deep south

I love baseball, so I watch until June when they change their logo to a rainbow and start sucking off the transvestite crowd. Then I don’t watch another game until spring training. Maybe one of two during playoffs.

I have never understood that either. Zooming into the hitter and pitcher for every pitch does absolutely nothing for the consumer. The only thing I can think of is the networks want to show the absurd uniform ads as much as possible. And now there are ridiculous helmet ads to make matters even worse. MLB doesn't want you to watch the game anymore. They want you to watch all the dumbass ads.
