I always find it interesting that everything sucks just because you don't like it because you are a miserable human being. It really is telling

lol you obviously don’t know what that term means.

I mean, you by definition deflected

So exactly what you just did.

I never claimed I didn't
Just wanted to point out that it's absolutely insane to beat your chest that something sucks just because you don't like it. It's insane behavior.
So yes back to your initial point, people that like something will typically try and defend it. That's a pretty natural thing. I think baseball rocks right now, the skill is as good as it's ever been and there are a bunch of young budding star players and a good mix of "super" teams and young teams trying to break through.

I didn’t beat my chest about anything and it’s telling that you constantly have to exaggerate and make things up to try and make a point. All I did was point out why I don’t watch baseball anymore, responding to the OP, not you btw. Your response to that was insults and straw men.

it’s more like watching extremely slow paced 7-8 year old baseball.
Wanna talk about exaggeration?

I agree, there are a lot of talented players but the game is in poor shape. It’s pretty boring watching nothing but strikeouts and fly balls for 9 innings plus the rules are silly and take away from baseball strategy which was a big part of the game.

Again learn a term before you use it.
Posted on 4/3/24 at 9:34 am to Madking
Okay sorry definitely not an exaggeration to compare the best athletes at their craft to 7-8 year olds. You are right Madking my bad
Posted on 4/3/24 at 9:37 am to TigerFan91
Another straw man. What I said wasn’t about the athletes, it was about the game.
Posted on 4/3/24 at 9:38 am to Madking
The athletes play the game!!!!

And? There are sports like golf and the NBA who have better athletes than ever before but those sports aren’t as popular as they were 20-25 years ago.

the length of the average mlb game decreased 16% with the new rule changes last year so it is not anything like a "slow paced 7-8 year old baseball game"

Are you trying to say that major league games are shorter than 7-8 year old games? They’re not
