Do you know the difference between election and reelection?

Ron ran on his own record for reelection and saw greater numbers than his first campaign.

Also, remember when you cultists kept repeating that MAGA is a movement and bigger than Trump? I remember.

Desantis used Trump to win an election. Undeniable fact.

Just kind of silly to act like Desantis and Trump weren't friends when it was beneficial for Ron to do so

So you're saying it's perfectly ok for Trump to team up with the establishment(Graham) when it helps to benefit Trump?

I really don't think you understand the argument you're making. You're attempt at a "gotcha" moment against Ron is painting Trump as an establishment stooge.

Trump hijacked a political movement to become President.

But that’s Differen(T)

And Trump was basically against Desantis in his last election, Ron won in record numbers.

And then outperformed Republicans across the nation on a night where MAGA candidates got their skulls kicked in.

The idea Trump got Ron his 20 point re-election win is nothing short of complete absurdity.

The idea that Ron forever owes Trump loyalty for helping him the first time around is why people call the hardcore MAGA’s a cult.

bullshite. It's more likely that Trump hurt him than helped him. Looking at the data, Meatball saw his biggest bumps after debates, when people were able to hear his thoughts for the state.

The people who were voting for Meatball because of MAGA were voting for the Republican, no matter who it was. Meatball learned from the mistake of tethering himself to Trump, and we saw the results in 2022.

would you like to see another undeniable fact?

With MAGA, he beat a cross dressing crackhead by less than half a point. When he stood on his own record, he beat a popular former governor by 20 points.

Shoutout to Youngkin for also seeing the writing on the wall and distancing himself from Trump.

Recreational marijuana

Well at least there is proof that doing this improves the States and lives of people everywhere it's done. Thank goodness none of those places are losing people to States that it's not allowed.

Seriously though there are people that left legalized States that may not be to keen on allowing what they left. They know all the "just tax it and it'll be good for schools, etc" lines are just that...lies. Creating cartel black markets, Chinese growers, etc. Get all the negatives the "slippery slope CPs" said, and none of the good the stoners promised.

This happening right now could be a stink that may come back to bite Desantis come '28. Even if he didnt want it, the negatives could start to develop countering all of his positives by the time he needs to start running.

Are you claiming the reason for people leaving NYC and California are doing so because of legalized marijuana?

Marijuana is going to be the next thing that causes Republicans to lose votes. Legalize it. License it. Tax it. Should be treated no differently than alcohol.

Living in Oklahoma, I will say this...

Don't make the same mistake the idiots made here, in not having a good plan in place because you think there's no way the people will vote to legalize weed. The people, everywhere, are going to turn out in overwhelming and unprecedented numbers to vote pro-pot. That was the largest turnout we have ever seen in state history.

Have a team ready, with a plan for regulations, enforcement and oversight. Keep local and county Sheriffs in the loop on everything...

... otherwise, you end up with illegal Chinese absolutely fricking everywhere making a killing off of their illegal grow farms that double as fentanyl trafficking facilities, sending their ill-gotten gains back to the CCP to continue internally destroying us- while, in the meantime, the people who run legitimate and lawful grow operations are strictly regulated into oblivion and can barely afford operating, insurance and licensing costs.

That's where we're at in OK.

Put a plan together. If the people of the reddest state in the USA voted overwhelmingly for weed, the people of your state will do it too.

Personally, I voted against the State Question to allow medical MJ in OK, but it's not because I'm anti-weed at all. It's because I actually read the proposal and everything that was in place, and there was ZERO plan for what to do if it passed. Now, we're hosting a bunch of illegal, non-English-speaking, military age Asians who absolutely despise us, and the laws regulating groweries and distribution are just now being set in concrete but the Asians still don't care about laws and regulations.

I'm saying people see many changes in laws that haven't been beneficial. If/when they sit down and truly think about negative contributors, legalization is on the con side of the list.

Then explain it to me in an attempt to change my mind. I don't smoke so it doesn't directly effect me....so I'm all ears on why it shouldn't be legalized.

Basically it boils down to two opposing views for Floridians: Democrats support personal freedom, and Republicans are pro-government intervention and tyranny, at least in the realm of individual decisions.

I want my WEED, man.
