My friend and I used to quote that line whenever one of us said “ you can’t do x”
Love this movie. Lots of gratuitous t&a also.

Stripes was filmed mostly at Fort Knox. The barracks they used in the film was the reception center for Fort Knox.
That’s where you got processed into the Army, issued uniforms, head shaved, etc. In fact this room right here…
Was, just like in the movie, the first place they ushered us into when we arrived. It still looked exactly this when I was there.
Usually you’d be there a few days to maybe a week. But they messed up the orders for a handful of us and we ended up staying there a little over two weeks before we finally got to load up on the cattle trucks for the ride over to the Disney (no relation to Walt) Barracks to actually begin 19Kilo OSUT.
Those two weeks were a mixture of confusion and abject boredom punctuated with the physical and mental torture of one shite detail after another.

I second Raising Arizona.
I'll also offer up Tommy Boy, Happy Gilmore and any Peter Sellers comedy.

Animal House
Recently saw “Animal House” in the original theatrical version. The amount of dildos would make even an Aggie blush.
