That last drive was big for FJ. Give her the ball and let her go to work.

Morrow is unfortunately the reason we don’t have a lead at the half. Missing the shots she normally hits. Rushing for some reason

Looks like she’s rushing her shot honestly. Normally she has a rhythm

Angel needs to keep it up and one of Flau’jae, Morrow, or Williams needs to come up big in the second half.

Watching the 2 different teams you can tell whenever LSU wants to take over they can. Iowa needs LSU to beat themselves.

we should be posting them up and picking n rolling them to death all day

They're in a zone. You pick and roll, you drive and roll right into 2 helpers. You post up, its gonna be 2 on 1 down low if they do it right. Zone is designed to force you to shoot. Iowa plays heavy zone coverage already to hide their lack of athleticism...just happens to be perfect to go against our weakness of shooting. When you come out and have a good shooting night against the zone...you blow their arse out of the building...see last years NC Game with LSU putting on a damn 3pt competition with Carson, Poole, Poa knocking down like 12 3s

The refs called some bs on Morrow too though. She just has to keep playing

Regardless, she has played poorly.

Listen, I'll take the refs calling a game that has free throws at a 5-4 edge to Iowa all night rather than refs that call every damn touch, put all the bigs in foul trouble, and make the game unwatchable. This has been a fun game to watch because they haven't taken over. They might in the 2nd half...we'll see.

Even with the missed gimmes and the boneheaded unnecessary jumpers, offense is fine. We can score basically at will against Iowa

It’s apparent that this one will be won/lost on the opposite end. Half to lock in on D

LSU is better at 4 of the 5 positions at all time. The key comes down to, as usual with Iowa, will their supporting cast hit the wide open shots CC will create for them...so far they are 10/20 which is better shooting than our "supporting cast" of Williams, HVL, and Morrow so far. Morrow the one who we need to turn it around and make her shots.

Iowa cannot stop LSU's inside game. Again you just get the feeling that Iowa is tied is due to LSU sloppiness not due to their talent. If LSU cleans up it's play and continues to dump the ball down low Iowa is done.

She doesn't have the instincts for it. If she was aggressive, she would be dominant.

Need to avoid our slow start in the 3rd. It’s happened way too often lately

If they stop giving easy layups to Clark, LSU is up 8.
