in the market for some golf shorts, new golf cleats/shoes, and some polos

I've been looking around at different sites, but I want to hear where all of you shop for your golf stuff. Looking for a good "bang for your buck" kind of place that has good material that isn't absurdly priced

Not meaning this as the usual dickish wrong board reply, but you'll get better responses on the golf board.

I like CRZ Yoga Brand off of Amazon. Pretty solid stuff for about 32 bucks.

Addidas ultimate 365 shorts are good bang for buck shorts. Look for sales.

Polos are worth investing a little more in my opinion. Peter Milar Crown Sport/Crafted will last you years, don’t fade or pull and rarely need to be ironed. They do sales twice per year. Next one will be in July timeframe. You can get some deals on those.

Amazon - Puma Dealer 8

These are great for the price if you prefer slightly shorter and hate the 10" inseam knee-length golf shorts like myself. Not a big Puma guy, but I have no complaints here.

new golf cleats/shoes

If you're playing in Louisiana, I would avoid anything mesh and go for leather or faux leather. You're inevitable going to find yourself in a muddy spot and the mesh and subsequently your socks will soak it up like a sponge. Footjoy ProSL or FJ Fuel are my favorite.

As for polos, I'd just bite the bullet. You'll appreciate the style, fit, durability, comfort, and collars of the pricier shirts.

If you don't mind going the lightly used route, I get a lot of things on Poshmark. Premium stuff like peter millar, rhoback, etc. for way way less than retail and can ussually get stuff in like new condition.

I found a couple pair of Callaway shorts at Costco for like 19 bucks and I wear them a lot.. Polos I don't buy cheap.. I hate the way cheaper golf shirts feel...

If you're a Sam's member, they have Callaway polos and shorts for good prices right now. The shirts are fantastic. I can't comment on the shorts, but they look to be of decent quality.

what would you call absurdly priced? Peter Millar polos are $100-110 and their performance golf shorts are also around $100. They are very well made, very comfortable, look good and last forever. It's basically all I wear at this point due to those above factors. I'm willing to spend a little more for something that is well made. You generally get what you pay for IMO.

As far as shoes, that's kind of dependent on what style you're looking for. I'm more of a traditionalist with the style of shoe I wear. I wear the Footjoy Icons. I believe they're now called the "Traditions." They're kind of right in the middle-price range at around $150. I actually find them more comfortable than their top-end traditional shoe and still have the same look.

I’ve been shopping for any kind of tech fabric short, even if it’s not for “golf.”
Stuff like Patagonia, mountain hardware, etc.
5 inch seam baby!
