7:00 am on a Saturday. Do you cut grass?

I’ve seen this topic on here before. I have a friend who claims 7:00 am on a Saturday is too early to start a lawnmower in respect of your neighbors. He thinks it’s fine on a Friday, but not on a Saturday.
What’s the OT’s consensus?

I mean, in the Deep South from June - August, you probably have to cut then to survive. But it’s assholish.

No that is ridiculous. I would say 8 at the earliest (when its hot summer months), 9 or later otherwise.

The only problem is the grass is usually still wet. I feel like if the sun is up it's fine. It's not my problem you sleep until 9:30 on a weekend. I've got things to do.

I’m inclined to agree. Green flag at 8 though.

Grass is too wet at 7:00. I usually wait until 8:30 or 9.

I wouldn’t but I’d say 7 is likely the threshold for too early. Anything before that and you’re an a-hole.

Daybreak. Start yer engines.

No that’s not too early.
Plus if people have stuff to do during the day, that might be the only time they can get it done.

Greenworks/EGO make great push mowers that operate very quiet since they're electric. If someone is using a gas mower at 7am on a weekend that's a bit of an annoyance.
With the improvements in mowing technology and batteries, if you can push, get electric. If you have to get a riding mower, go gas and do it after the morning.

Just cut my back yard. Enjoying cutting in the low 60's because in another month will be pushing the high 80's and we all know in the deep south you wont see the low 60's again until maybe mid Oct.

I'm up at 6 on weekends (as opposed to 5 weekdays). I usually hear mowers before 7. People who normally go in to work at 9 probably do not appreciate the wake-up.

Suns up, blades down

Yes if you are my neighbor and it is 2003-2015 .

It simply depends upon how close your neighbors are to your lawn. In most subdivisions, I would say 7 AM is too early, but sometimes it might be necessary due to weather conditions.
