Don’t even go to there. Both are acceptable in this context

it might even go so far as to effect the rest of the entire athletics program

No, they actually qualified for the post season. Unlike getting a Travis Hunter, they lost Dalton Knecht. They're the anti prime

Nope. Knecht didn’t come from the Buffs…he came from Northern Colorado.

Affect - verb.
Effect - noun.
Nowhere close to interchangeable...

Don’t even go to there.
quote:No, they are not. This defies the literal laws of logic, let alone grammar. Both cannot be acceptable in the same context, and to make matters worse (Worser?), you used it in the wrong context (Concept?).

Maybe Prime’s arrogant arse should coach basketball. You can make the post season and maybe even a couple elite eights with just four good money chasing athletes unlike football which requires balanced team building, a locker room culture besides Lil Wayne on the sideline, and some competent coaching.

I see this mistake made everyday.
Irregardless, Deion has been apart of something special.

For all intensive purposes, the mistake is common and just demonstrates there ignorance:

Losing? Yeah he has that mastered.

Both “effect” and “affect” can be used as nouns, but they aren’t interchangeable and OP clearly means “effect.”
