T or F: Willie has to find Hawkins or Ryan minutes in BI's absence

Trey can do a good job starting, we know that. He will score and give us some really good spacing with the starting unit.
But its a ripple effect. Now you are lacking in bench scoring.
Sure Dyson coming back helps with Defense, but it doesn't give you the thing you will actually be missing.
They will need to find a way to score points in bunches with the reserves. That is a big thing for us and has been a key factor in our recent run.
The guys that have that ability, IMO, off the bench to fill in that gap even slightly are Matt Ryan and Jordan Hawkins.
My preference would be Hawkins, but I think Willie will lean Ryan (after a few games of trotting out more Naji and JRE minutes.

Absolutely True, but he wont.
We need firepower with BI out. You arent gonna beat teams shooting only 20 3s in a game. Our problem is we rely on 2 guys to take and make 80% of our 3s. We need to diversify our 3s. It makes us much harder to guard. If you only have to worry about stopping 2 guys from shooting then you're easier to defend against

Ingram accounts for about 30-35 minutes per game. Prior to Dyson’s injury he was around 20 minutes per game. Murphy is already on par with Ingram as far as minutes per game at 30 minutes a game so he’s basically a wash when he moves to the starting position.
That leaves 10-15 minutes “available” when Dyson comes back. I would imagine Hawkins or Ryan fills those minutes. I just can’t see Willie running Naji or Dyson for 30+ minutes a game.

Get ready for 30 minutes of Naji "MJ" Marshall

Willie's stubborn arse is going to give all the extra minutes to Naji. Hawk will get in the last five minutes if we're blowing someone out, but that's it. We've probably seen about the last of Matt Ryan.

Willie is going to stagger Zion and CJ to always have a playmaker on the court. This means we are going to see a lot of the anti-spacing lineups with Zion for a while.
