Pels recent run has been great and has earned them some well-deserved attention from the national media. But, to be honest, we've been beating up on some bad teams and some depleted teams. When we had to play a good team at near full-strength--The Cavs--they dunked our heads.

Now we play 10 of the next 14 games against winning teams with their own playoff aspirations: Orlando (twice), Suns (twice), Warriors, Lakers, Bucks, Heat, Cs and Thunder. Throw in two against improving Spurs and Pistons and it's a real test. Only gimme is Portland.

If we are for real we need to go at least 8-6 in this stretch. Earlier this year I would have said that was unlikely. But if we are going anywhere this year, we have to show we can beat good teams in tight games down the stretch. In the next three weeks we'll find out what we really are...

Sucks for them. Those are games we used to play down to the competition. We are doing what good teams are supposed to and winning against lesser opponents. Why would that ever be a bad thing?

Circumstances matter. We could have injuries too or go through a bit of a lull. It's not the end of the world. As long as we can avoid the 7-8th seed and be healthy come the playoffs, that's good enough for me..

I was worried about this stretch of games. We need BI to go 8-6. Hopefully, it's not serious.

I think we need to get to 50 wins to make sure we stay in 5th or 6th, but maybe not.

It's more that I want to see us play up to top competition. Tonight we laid another egg against a good team, got run out of the gym really. That's something that has happened too often this year for me to be sure about just where this team fits in the NBA pecking order.

Losing Brandon for a long stretch would be tough, but then again we've seen a few NBA teams this year thrive when a star went down, notably the Cavs and Bulls. One thing we might see is the team getting up more 3 point attempts, with Trey and CJ starting and perhaps Hawk getting more minutes we may finally be able to average 35+ attempts a game.
