You didn’t even read your own article. Trump didn’t state that in court, it was a video clip of him saying that.

I am fairly confident this is Trump attorneys strategy now to appeal without putting up the ridiculous bond. This would be the only reason they publicized the number of lenders who denied it.
The argument will be that if the bond is not feasible, then the order is not legal. It goes to the argument that the whole trial is ridiculous. A defendant has to be provided the opportunity to the justice system without irreparable harm.

Because Trump supporters are broke or generally less educated and don't have a lot of income but I did see on Reddit where some people said they were taking seconds out on their trailers to donate to the Gofundme.

It's not that the bond companies won't consider it. It's that they don't give money to deadbeats who don't pay their bills, which Trump has a history of. His campaign is broke because he has to prepay lawyers because he has a history of not paying his legal bills too. Keep donating to the to his broke campaign so he can pay his lawyers. Funny how if Jeff Bezos of Carlos Slim went to those same bonding companies, they could get that money but...for some reason, Trump can't get that money. Hmm? Why is that? Why is it no bank will loan him the money? Not even Deutsche Bank, which he has had business dealings with before. Why is that? Hmmm.

Sheldon Adelson is dead and his wife Miriam Adelson isn't going to give Trump a dime. Elmo said recently he wasn't going to help Trump with his legal troubles. "I'm not paying his legal bills in any way". Oh...well.
