Let's talk it out, what makes CRT racist?

I think CRT is evil, and I think it's arguably racist, but I think it's a good thing for this board to have good answers on, hence the devil's advocate routine.

If you don't know, maybe you should educate yourself.

This is a good point. CRT itself isn't exactly "racist." It's just wrong and enables victimhood.

Put clearly, CRT is the belief that racism (against minorities is the assumption) is baked into legal, political, educational, and societal structure. Therefore it's incumbent upon all to counteract this by giving advantage to the minorities that don't actually suffer under these purportedly racist systems.

This is indeed a factual lie. If this were the case almost all white people would dominate all others all the time, but average whites get outclassed by harder working immigrants and minorities all the time. CRT is pure victimhood where there is no victim.

Essentially, CRT (and it's offspring, DEI) teaches that every system created by whites is racist ("systemic racism") because whites are inherently oppressors and blacks are inherently victims of white oppression. In other words, (according to CRT/DEI) you can't separate a white person from their drive to be an oppressor nor can you separate a black person from their being victimized by white oppression.

To ascribe behaviors intrinsically to race, especially behaviors so deeply entwined as CRT/DEI opines of the victim and oppressor statuses, is definitively racist.

Though they use power structure, the idea that some people can be racist and others cannot seems fairly racist on the surface when its used to marginalize thoughts from a particular race.

My IRL answer always works with lefties:
Me: 'What is racism?'
Them: 'Believing one race is superior to another.'
Me: 'Superior at what?'
Them: 'Everything.'
Me: 'So, since I think blacks are better at basketball then I can't be racist.'
Them: 'OK, superior at MOST stuff!'
Me: 'The total of 'stuff' is millions of things. So, if I believe whites are better at 51% of stuff and blacks are superior at 49% of stuff then that's the line for being a racist? Really?
Them: 'I don't wanta talk about it anymore.'
