I'm not down on him but I'd have to say he/Kling have been the biggest disappoints for me so far this season. Bingham has just out-right booted 3 balls this week-end and made an ill-advised diving attempt and came up 5' short on another ball. If he doesn't heat up at the plate, I'd just as soon have Kling in CF until he figures it out at the plate and let Neal have a game a weekend in OF for Bingham. Bingham has a bubblegum card, as they say, so maybe he'll about to turn it around. We sure need him to!

Bingham got on base 3 times today from the leadoff spot, including a 2 run homer.

Bingham hit a HR and was on base 3x today.

They have been playing him in LF, as much CF as he has played in his career, it’s hard to go back & forth. Will allow him some grace in that regard.

It also looks like the sun sets behind home plate too. I know it seemed like Milam lost a pick off from Hellmers in the sun. I think Bingham lost the diving ball in the sun too

So a 2-run homerun is cold at the plate?

Need his bat in the lineup but he is a defensive liability

LF? Yes
CF? No

As bad as Kling is hitting lately, he’s makes plays in CF. I’d still fine with him working his way out of the slump 9th in the lineup

I think he looks like Bregman and his batting stance and approach to the ball is similar.

Bingham was fading a bit at the plate right BEFORE this week but this week he's 6 for 16 with 2 home runs, 4 RBI, 3 SO and 3 free passes which is not a bad 4 game run. So he's heating up there.

It's hard to excuse how terrible he's been in the field recently but zona had him starting centerfield his last 2 years there so I gotta think he wasn't this bad there otherwise why keep him in CF. SO I'm hoping the lapses recently are just a little bit of short term yips and not more of what to expect.

Uhhhh, sounds like you are down on him to me.

You need to temper your expectations for the whole team until some chemistry comes together. TW is batting with less than half the protection around him that he had last year. Jones still cannot hit a curve ball but is looking a little better.

The top two returning RBI leaders in NCAA this season are #1 Tommy White and #2 Max Bingham... We are trying to replace 140 HRs from last season. This team will have to do it differently.

We lose more than we gain by benching Kling and putting Bingham in CF.

Bingham’s spot is LF and you have to hope Kling’s bat improves. But a Dylan Crews-Andrew Stevenson-type CF is the linchpin of our defense. Kling is that linchpin. You can’t put an iron glove like Bingham in CF.

Bingham is a proven hitter and LSU is fortunate to have him. He will contribute throughout the season.

Kling, hmmm, I honestly don't know.

Probably looking at one of the every day guys for rest of year, either in LF or CF.
