aside from the occasional cross-dressing weirdo on Phil Donahue.
Now they have convinced nearly half the kids in school that they were born in the wrong bodies.
How parents have allowed (and continue to allow) this tragedy is beyond comprehension.

As a parent, I don't allow it, but my kids are aware that if they dare speak up, their lives will be ruined.

The reason there were no 'trans' is what I call Social-Norming. If you were in elementary school 40 years ago and started acting like the opposite sex you got the shite beaten out of you. The next day you were cured and went on to a happy life.

I remember sex change operations being a brunt of jokes in the 80's and probably predates that.
