I've never seen a dude look so differently throughout the season in all my years of watching basketball.

Yes, I've seen guys be really good, then drift off. Or the opposite.

I've never seen a dude do this though...

Starts the season looking like absolute dog shite. Like so slow that he shouldn't even be in the league.

Then he gets some rest for a while and comes back.

And looks like a fricking All NBA defender.

Then he gets another minor injury and is back to shite. Not quite as shitty as he was at the beginning of the year but close.

He's just way too unreliable He's only good now for about 30 percent of the games he's available.

Have to move on. Great dude but he absolutely sucks when he's not 100 percent healthy and rested.

If the thought process is that he will ever be 100% healthy again and be the Larry that he was for us in the play-in/playoff run, I’d say that’s a fool’s errand. Dude has no lift anymore.

Old and years of injury catched up to him. He may have a good game here or there but overall he’s done. Should move on from him

He’s literally missing layups and giving up dunks. Its like Im seeing Hernangomez get 20-30 minutes a game for no reason. At some point Willie needs to sit Larry for this team to be better.

That was literally 2-3 games at most. In a 82 games season thats nothing. Zeller can give you 2-3 good games in a season.

He definitely shouldn’t be getting the minutes that he does, but he can’t bench him completely, Zion would get abused defensively at the 5 if he played it for the amount of minutes Larry currently is.

Like I’ve said before, Griff and Trajan fricked it up by thinking Zeller was a good signing

Plus they double downed by not using their first round picks to get a backup big at the deadline as well. Griffin needs to forget about value and sometimes just pull the trigger.

Downvote me all you want, but Nance might be the worst player in the league. fricking seriously, what exactly does he do that's a positive for this team? Yet he lately he gets more minutes than Jonas? How fricking stupid Willie?

he is so bad. We shouldve traded him and a pick for gafford. It's only gonna get worse, wait until willie plays him 30mpg in the playoffs

Zachary Gertler @ZacharyGertler

Sat right near griff last night. After Larry missed a point blank layup in the 3rd Q everybody around griff started trashing Larry. He then said very loudly “Larry is one of the best defensive centers in the league with an extremely high IQ”. We are doomed if he thinks that.

This is some random on twitter, so who knows how true it is, but this kind of gets to the heart of the thread. When Larry is 100% is often when the Pels play their best, because he is really good. But he hasn't been 100% for more than 20%-30% of the year since last year. I love his leadership, but with his salary slot, we need more on the court production.

I see this mentioned a lot, but what are we basing this on?

I haven't heard much in recent weeks with him dealing with injuries.

Him playing well, then getting injured and not playing well last year. Then this year him sucking but having a good stretch when he was forced to sit out to heal up. It's circumstantial, but it lines up. He has a long injury history though, so whether he's just washed or it's an injury thing, he still isn't consistent enough to be a key part of the rotation.

I dont understand willie's fascination with Larry. His athleticism is gone after the injuries he's had. He provides no rim protection, he can't score at all and we get outrebounded. At least JV can score and rebound.

If true, Griff is delusional and the game may have passed him by.

In addition to age and injuries NANCE has Crohn's disease. It's chronic and he Will continue to wear down especially for an undersized big.

CJ seems to have lost his legs. It would nice to give him rest by giving his minutes to the rookie.
