Great way to change it up a little with chicken kabobs. Get some plain greek yogurt. Cut the chicken into the size you want for kabobs. I got the grill pretty hot and then threw them on.
Broccoli, Onions, and peppers grilled on the side with some rice pilaf and of course pita, hummus
The yogurt gives the chicken a much softer texture. You will not get the crispy outside or at least I did not.

Pics would be nice.
I have done yogurt marinated kabobs before. Marinated them overnight with some nice seasoning mixed in. They got pretty crispy for me. Try using dark meat and cook them directly over the fire near the end to get some crispy texture.

A little change of pace, especially with chicken, would be to mix buffalo wing sauce with the Greek yogurt and then put those on the kabobs.

We do these all the time. Try a squeeze of lemon right at the end of grilling.

I've used turmeric and cardamom in my seasoning mix when I use the greek yogurt marinade. It's a pretty big departure from what we normally use to cook so it's definitely a good change of pace.

Sounds excellent.
Whip up some baba ganoush to accompany next time.

Cubed pork loin works great, too.
Za'atar is a fantastic spice that works well with those flavors. Kind of like chili crisp, try it on lots of things and you'll be pleasantly surprised.
