In a trailer released on Tuesday, the game highlighted a new mode titled “Road to the Show: Women Pave Their Way.”

if they added this feature to be able to play a woman's baseball league (a la A League of Their Own) then this would have been kinda cool, but to simply add in the ability to thrust a woman into MLB is fricking ridiculous.

Women are not barred from playing MLB, as far as I know.

This is such a clear-as-day marketing ploy to get the female demo to buy the game because they already know that they've maxed out the male demo.
I guess I get it because there is not many more ways you can go to increase year-to-year sales for a sports game, but here I am just wishing that they would add full minor leagues.

I looked up Kelsie Whitmore's stats in the Atlantic League. Just under career ERA of 12 in 25 innings and a .038 batting average. Impressive.

Odd thing to use resources on. I’ve been a huge fan of The Show Series but it’s honestly starting get stale. There’s so much they could and should be doing with the career mode and franchise mode.

Put a female Dynasty Mode into the new NCAA football game.
