The problem in this logic is that if guys move up, the pitch sequence isn't gonna be exactly the same. Just because he doubled in that situation doesn't mean he would have in a completely different one. People do this all the time and it drives me crazy. Butterfly effect and all.

Chasing him after 3+ and he’s supposed to be Big 12 Pitcher of the Year, heck of a game plan and give credit to the players for sticking to it.
