Curious for tonight’s game.
Looks like it’s open for the early game and wondering if it’s open all weekend?

It will depend on rain and temperature. Not sure about the college classic, but this is what the astros do.
quote:
According to the Astros, the roof is closed for the threat of rain, the threat of sustained winds above 30 mph, temperatures below 65 degrees for a night game and air temperature or heat-index readings above 88 degrees for a night game or 84 for a day game.

I would have to think the. with the weather projected all weekend(beautiful) it will be open then.
Costs a lot of money to open and close that biatch.

back when it was new, they said it cost an average of around $5 to operate it one way.
almost 25 years later, I'm sure it costs closer to 10 bucks maybe even 15.

Yeah, opening and closing the roof isn't a big deal. It's open frequently during the day to grow the grass.

it happens.
Note: that's just the energy cost.

With it already open and fireworks post-game tonight, it's staying open.

It will never be closed in time

That was Enron accounting

Yeah it may not be as expensive as I made it sound but it costs $5 to crank up the ice cream machine at McDs so I have my doubts.

Looking at the stadium, it’s open

No way in hell it costs more to open than it does to run the AC

It’s open. Great weather for it.
