This is a fair point that you make because it is very much babied and driven the speed limit in the right lane. I am definitely not rough on it. I did have a F150 and it was a very solid truck but not anywhere near as plush as the Ram.

I guess I am one of the trashy ones because I have owned them since they changed their body style in 1994 and never had one issue with any of them. I have also owned a GMC and F150 in that time frame. F150 was 9 years of a solid truck no issues but the GMC was in the shop 4 times in a year and half before I got ride of it.
I currently drive a 2019 Ram 2500 and have every intention of driving it for 10-12 years. It has been zero problems as well.(except rides way more rough than half ton lol)
If you like the Ram buy it. If you like something else buy that. They all are good IMO but you can get a bad one no matter the brand.

I have a 2021 1500 Laramie. First truck I’ve ever owned and I like it. I don’t have any allegiance to any one truck manufacturer so I just went with the one with the nicest interior and smoothest ride. 36k miles and no issues so far

The most worthless people alive drive Rams.

They’re cheap. In quality and price. Sometimes that can be a good thing depending on what someone is looking for.

The seats cup Laney Wilsons arse.
At one Chevys were the redneck/hillbilly brand of choice. If you had a Dodge, you would be ridiculed. Today, that's Dodge.

What about GM and Ford HD's?
Are they any more reliable?

I have a 2019 Ram 2500 with zero issues.
Neighbor has a 2021 Ford F250 and it has been in the shop multiple times for multiple issues including a new transmission.
I like the way the Ram 2500, F250, and the new Chevy/GMC 2500 look. Just get the one you like the best.
The Chevy/GMC just changed body style last year and they are very good looking trucks IMO.

Best thing to do with a RAM is to RAM it into a concrete barrier or a tree.

Damn, asking a question about Ram trucks has definitely riled up the Ford frickboys in here. You’d think the Ram CEO stole their boat and burned their camp house down.
Best thing I can tell you is go test drive every truck you might buy and see which one you like best. Then get an extended warranty on whatever you get.

I have a 2013 RAM 1500. Bought it after test driving every brand except Ford. Had never owned a RAM before and was a bit reluctant.
Still going strong. Never any problems. My 3 things that I do not like about it are the headlights are not great at night, short bed, small turning radius.
Would buy again.

Test drove all of them, it wasn't even close.
2020 Laramie with the 5.7 hemi. 40k miles and not a single issue. The brand loyalist just can't stand to see ram as a contender. They are more comfortable, just as reliable, and better priced than their competitors. Especially the dated Toyota.

They have improved, but in this economy with the days on lot numbers you should shoot for 25K off sticker or more. Dealerships are drowning in inventory.

I wouldn’t buy a truck made after 2020.

Ford is the most reliable, that’s not an opinion that’s a fact.
It’s a fact that’s it’s your opinion. And I drive an f-150. They are no better or worse than the other brands. There’s your “fact”.

I know they are cheaper than Chevy and ford. That’s about the extent of my knowledge
