12-15 year old boys
Especially if there is more than one
I could beat them senselessly and feel no remorse

Man, I hope this is the case, because if my daughter gets any worse when she hits her teens, it's gonna get ugly. She and her mother are locked in damn near 24/7 verbal combat it seems. I had to shut it down last night because the shite is starting to drive me insane listening to them argue over the dumbest shite.
It doesn't get any better, daughter and wife constantly engaged in verbal combat but only when both of us are present.

Mid 20s. They have long since known you were full of shite but they are mature enough to call you out for it the little ungrateful bastards.
That said the meanest and most treacherous mammal on earth is a 14 year old girl. The average 14 year old girl in the US will say and do things to other people that would have made the Marquis de Sade physically ill....

Tween/teen range. Take the bad with the good.

Had 3 kids and beginning at 13 through 17 were the roughest patches. The lying is where it starts and then the sneaky stage. My daughter was really difficult at around 17 when I was dating my now wife. Just having two females going at it consistently begins to wear on you. Fast fwd about 10 years and all is well again.
This will truly make one question his addiction to pussy...and it usually happens about the time that men aren't as easy to lead around by their pecker...its no wonder the divorce rate is so high....

They can be something else. But getting a teen girl or boy into church can really help.

Between the ages of 4 and 6 if you would have said my son will be in Med School or be in Prison I would have said Prison. He was hell on wheels. Once he got to like second grade he mellowed out and became the nicest kid on the planet and still is.
My daughter is 20 now. Between the ages of 12 -14 she was the moodiest piece of crap little bitch on the planet. I seriously thought her and my wife were going to eventually kill each other. Now she is sweet as can be and still calls me Daddy. I look forward to her text every morning before she heads off to class.

girls age 11 thru marriage

Ages 14-16. Raised 3 girls and I found out that my wife and I:
* Don't know anythng
* The kids know everything
* We're unfair for requiring chores
* We don't understand their feelings
* We never experienced anything like they go through
* School is much harder today than when we went
* Cleaning up their rooms is unfair
* Having a cell phone is a right
I could go on and on.... My wife (no pictures) has more to say than I do. But, amazingly when they each hit 17 they saw the light, we weren't the "enemy" any longer and they loved us again.... Imagine that! But, man there were some days I understood why some animals in the wild eat their young!

When they leave the house. Enjoy every moment you get with them no matter how frustrating you think it is.

My 13 year old daughter is great. She is strange, smart, and talented (art). She has some anxiety issues, but that is common with gifted children.
My 7 year old is great as well, though completely different from her sister. She is outgoing (most popular kid in her class), has a great sense of humor, smart, and talented (drama).
Both kids make straight As (mostly). The 13 year old is struggling a bit in math, but she is in geometry in 8th grade... and struggle means a B instead of an A.
My mom worked her arse off being a mom. My dad worked his arse off being a provider, but was rarely around. I turned out OK. My sisters ended up being dropouts and addicts. To me, the key is to have both parents around and invested. Dads have to be dads, not just payers of bills.

2-5.
my oldest was an a-hole in utero and an a-hole for the next three years.
my youngest was an easy pregnancy, easy birth, and easy infancy. then after he learned to walk, he became an a-hole till he was about 5.
been mostly good since then. oldest is a moody 17 year old and we get along, but he can be a bit of a dick. takes everything way too personally and wears his emotions on his sleeves. never gets in trouble at school or anything.
younger one (14) is a kind young man and much more respectful and well behaved. he does however get in trouble at school more often than necessary. but it's a private christian school so it's stuff that wouldn't make you bat an eye at a public school.
both are straight A students for the most part.
however...
that's a you problem brochacho.

ever since both boys were teenagers it's been my favorite time of parenting. they're both great and stopped fighting.
i think the biggest fight they had in the last 3 years was that one of them forgot to go to bed in minecraft and something killed them and they lost all their stuff.

I’m about to go toe to toe with my two year old and we will see who survives. He’s the odds on favorite. My other two weren’t half as tough as him combined.

14-16 year old girls is fricking roughhhhhhhh. It has been the most miserable time in my life as a mom.
My wife is feeling this right now. I hate this age too. Wakes up, not 1 GD word, just a RBF face. 10 min drive to school, not 1 word. Gets home from school, straight to sleep. Wakes up for supper, eats and doesn't say a word. Drives me fricking nuts.

Mid twenties when they move back in.

Yeah - we have a 2 year old grandson. That is a rough time, but it is tempered with good times.
I'll stick with my first comment.
12 is when girls go bat "squat" crazy.
and 15 is when boys just get mean and angry.
That was a miserable time.
