What is the worst age kids to parent?

I’ve parented three teenagers (two boys and and a girl) and some sort of crazy has come over them at precisely 15 years old. Trouble at school, drugs/alcohol, moods.
Seemingly it all seems to ease up when they get drivers license and braces come off. I’m not dumb, they are 100% better at hiding their shite when they get older, but is it just me or is age 15 the WORST!?

Ehhh in 3 years you’ll drop them off at college and the two boys will become welders and the girl a stripper

Probably when you’re 80. That would suck

Depends on the kid. My daughter was extremely difficult until around 14 but was a model teenager. My son was the exact opposite. Very well behaved and easy to deal with until he was 14 when he became extremely difficult until 17 or so.

Eh, it's teenage angst, rebellion, hormones, feeling lost and free at the same time as you grow up and get out from the shadow of your parents.
We've been lucky our kid has been very compliant, just a little argumentative at times.
I think kids in general have it easier than ever so maybe they have more free time to create problems that really shouldn't be problems.
But then again every generation says that about the previous one.

Raised rwo boys and two girls that followed that pattern. Girls difficult early. Boys difficult later.

I was thinking anything passed 50. Or being a teen parent.

I’m guessing you’ve never had a 15 year old (yet)? I long for the days slapping a pull-up on my kids would allow me to sleep through the night.

I have a 2 year old and a 16 year old.
The 2 year old is annoying at times. The 16 year old has me just about ready to drag him outside and beat his arse. He just wants to be a lazy, disrespectful, and defiant piece of shite right now.

Ours are 15 & 3. The 15 year old girl is a dream. Fantastic student who does all her school work without prompting, has a strong circle of friends, doesn’t vape like every other kid at her school, plays sports, etc. She’s got some nerdy interests (anime), but she’s the least moody teenager I’ve ever encountered. 11-12 was way less fun. She was still a good kid, but more of an obnoxious edge lord.
My 3 year old isn’t a difficult kid; he’s just glued to me.

I don't know how but all three of mine, youngest being 15, are good/great kids. I think I've been a great example of what not to do while being brutally honest about what I did at their age and I scared the shite out of them. Fingers crossed and knock on wood.

Had 3 kids and beginning at 13 through 17 were the roughest patches. The lying is where it starts and then the sneaky stage. My daughter was really difficult at around 17 when I was dating my now wife. Just having two females going at it consistently begins to wear on you. Fast fwd about 10 years and all is well again.
