Harris County hospitals will be removing “men” and “women” signs from their bathrooms

My wife works at one of these hospitals, they had an official memorandum sent around yesterday via email and also were told verbally (company wide) this is part of a new DEI initiative for 2024.
I’ll see if I can get a hold of the memo to post it on here for those that don’t believe me.

That is what I am wondering. Do hospitals really have large multiple person restrooms when every patient room has a bathroom?

I mean yeah, when you license a faclilty like a clinic or hospital, there is a written regulation for a minimum number of fixtures per number of occupants not including patients, I believe. Maybe like one per 10-15 people. This may be true for any commercial building.
