There will surely be people in here who will come in and expound on the evils of NIL, but what's wrong with paying someone for a service?

NIL is only evil when the player chooses to go somewhere other than LSU. Come on you know that

Got no issue with it. Just think it should be regulated a little bit before it destroys the game.

Coaches should be able to yank NIL mid season if a player catches a big head
transferring for anything but hardships should cost a year of eligibility, etc.

The more that money dictates the winners in athletic competitions the less people respect the accomplishment. That's pretty universal. Like the Yankees trying to buy a title vs the royals building a team through their scouting and farm system over years.

This isn't new.

Even the nfl has a salary cap which is one of the primary reasons for its parity and popularity.

All that being said.

Your boring gotcha is noted.

Yes, NIL as it currently stands is evil, but that's now the standard. As allowed by the NCAA, college football is now a pay for play system. I don't like the current system, but I didn't get a vote. If that's the case, I expect LSU to play the same NIL game as everyone else.

I don't like the transfer portal or NIL.
