Elevator or Escalator Accidents

There was an episode of Rescue 911 where the kids got stuck in an escalator and almost died. The one episode I never forgot.

Well I have a fear of Escalators after I was stuck on one for an hour during a power outage.

I had an interview in the Conway LSU dept a few years back.
The elevator stopped between floors. They killed the power and we crawled out on a step ladder.

This facility had an elevator that killed a nurse a few years back.

That was heavy on my mind when crawling.


My 14 year old would choose using stairs when possible but she’s also very athletic.
I prefer the stairs when going up. I hate going down stairs since I feel like I’ll fall down the stairs.

Got stuck on an elevator with a lady and her four little kids all under the age of 7 for over an hour. Was a nightmare.

Other than being a prisoner why was it so bad? Were the kids upset?

A Gen Z Wonderlic

Elevators with a glass floor and 3 people weighing 300+ and their luggage. Makes you look at that license to see the rated capacity.

Went on a trip to Mexico City during Christmas break in H.S. The hotel we stayed in was a high rise and the elevators were 50/50 they would open up on the floor you were going to. It would open 1/2 way between floors. Good times.
