Brown to center. Interesting. Johnson showing lots of ways to move the pieces around. Can switch the days off around the field instead of making it an either/or for Milam and Pearson.

Crazy that Milam is going to be LSU's first ever .700 hitter this season.

Definitely interested to see Kade Anderson he was the #2 player out of Louisiana (St. Paul’s).

I would like to see Christian Little some today too. Hopefully he’s improved.

No Kling today after a fairly rough weekend for him, I'm sure it doesnt mean anything but hard to sit Milam or Brown with the hot streaks they are on and get Pearson back in the lineup otherwise.

The old baseball adage….. if you hit, they will find a spot for you

Did not have sitting Kling on my bingo card. But this does give Brown some in game experience at the position should Kling ever go down with injury.

It's so cool watching these new faces. Another thing that makes college baseball so awesome.

It was never gonna have to be an either/or thing between Milam or Pearson because Pearson can play OF and Brown can play any outfield spot and 1B. I posted this yesterday, but I'll post it again because I think it makes it easier to see. For Milam to start, one of these guys has to come out:

Pearson
Brown
Bingham
Kling (Brown to CF)
Jones (Brown to 1B)
Braswell (Milam to SS)

I'm not currently advocating for any of these scenarios in particular, just saying one of these is going to have to happen to get Milam in the lineup. Assuming somebody else is DHing and White is healthy. Or maybe, like someone else suggested, Milam never officially beats any one of those guys out specifically, but Jay keeps him in the lineup by just alternating giving them days off. Regardless, I'm sure it will eventually work itself out.

By the way, helluva start for Trav. Dude's OPS has got to be over 2.000
