Does it get better after Mike goes to jail in season 5? This damn show got so soap-opery in season 5. Does it go back to them doing lawyers stuff and pulling cases out of their asses. I don’t feel like watching some dumb drama jail show.
I hate when shows start off one way and it’s great then feel like they have to evolve.

No. Last few seasons every epi almost the same. Donna only reason to watch.

Are they individual episode themes or these big over arching dramatic problems?

no, it gets worse, way worse, not worth watching really as the lawyer stuff is almost nonexistent after season 4 and most of season 4 was pretty uninteresting
you should have stopped watching at the end of season 3

Only reason to keep watching is to see Louis finish out his arc. Rest of it is total shite and Mike’s appearances are just annoying

(Spoiler) Ask yourself how stupid is it that a guy who goes to jail for practicing law without a license still doesn’t go to law school, gets admitted to the bar?? If that sounds stupid you will hate the rest of Suits.

Im almost to the point of quitting after a few episodes of season 7.
Mike is the sole reason. His character is becoming miserable to watch. So tired of every episode him shitting on everyone in his life because he FEELS like he needs to go white knight for strangers. Despite there being a million oportunities to do good.. he HAS to focus on the onyl ones that cause disruption in his life. While lying l, gaslighting, and manipulating every single person who's ever had his back.
Oh and every episode after getting put in his place, he has to have a " LOOK" conversation that brings up either his dead parents or his terrible couple of months in prison. He's so relateable! You just dont understand why he HAS to keep going.
Id rather have triple the amount of Louis self loathing than have to watch mike be a douchebag that thinks he's better than everyone.

Or even worse, just don’t have Mike go to court. You don’t need a law degree to work at a firm and review case law. They rarely go to court anyway

This was always the stupidest part of the whole premise. Just hire him to work for you as a paralegal
I stopped watching when Mike went to jail and everyone I heard from said it was terrible after that, so I never watched it

On top of that, if he had gone to work for a small PI firm in Biloxi, Mississippi maybe he never comes across another Harvard person ever.
But he went to work for one of the most prestigious law firms in New York City. He is going to come across people that were supposedly in his same class every time he blinks

I scream this from day 1 and why I can't get into it. There is absolutely no scandal about just saying he's a consultant for the firm and paying him a bunch of money to be smart as shite and never go to court.
The entire show is over if they realize that, though

Wait until they get to the part where they make that retarded T-Mobil commercial…

It's the whole "Only accept Harvard Lawyers" BS. If Harvey hired Mike as a paralegal and they show how he is a genius, no one at the firm would GAF that he wasn't a lawyer. He could do everything he did except be attorney of record or sign anything. BUT you would not have a show.

No, that was pretty much the peak of the show. The only thing to look forward to was what Louis was going to ruin next. I loved his character, and he was my favorite, but he was the stooge of that series, who would have a few redeeming moments.
