9 mg. Scary stuff. I'm gonna cut back to 3 mg and see how it goes.

Interesting. I do the same dose and haven’t noticed any issues.

Those aren't palpitations.
That's just the left ventricle of your heart communicating with the right atrium, and it's saying, "frick YEAH, BROTHER, WE'RE frickING DOING THIS! HOLD ONTO YOUR BUTT!"

Was about to start taking this, do you need to cycle?

Started with 9mg? I started back in October with 3, then moved to 6 in February.
If you research it, it’s remarkably safe and frankly a miracle supplement due to range of benefits.
Did you change anything else? Workouts any different?

Curious...what is the alleged benefit of a boron supplement? I've never heard of anyone doing it until this forum

No. They stopped as soon as I got off.
Course, I'm 64, but I'm steadily lifting and putting on muscle.

increase in free testosterone from decreased shgb. tons on this forum have used it successfully and its proven in the studies to work really well for that.
most notice return of morning wood within a week to 10 days.
blood work for many backs up these claims too.

I’ve read that boron interacts with and improves vitamin d3 absorption which could mean in your case an increase in calcium levels. Electrolyte balance issues can cause palpitations. Magnesium counters calcium- do you take a supplement? If not, add some magnesium and see if it improves

Other than what is mentioned in the OP what are some common side effects? Will I go bald faster?

Just found an article on for some more reading and this sold me:
quote:
It is well known that approximately 98% of testosterone molecules are bound to proteins in the blood, principally to sex hormone–binding globulin (SHBG), and are not bioavailable because bound hormones cannot exit capillaries. Thus, the elevation of unbound free testosterone seen with boron supplementation may have significant beneficial ramifications, particularly in aging men in whom, typically, levels of SHBG increase and levels of FT decrease.
