They closed schools today for this.

To go watch drunk NFL players celebrate and get shot at.

No way i would take my kids anywhere near there.

Most of the schools specifically said they would not close for this last week but then so many teachers were going to take the day off they were forced to shutdown because they couldn't get subs.

Every parent who took kids to that needs to take a hard look at themselves in the mirror.

Is KC a crime ridden shithole like St Louis?

I had the uneducated view that KC was the nice city to St Louis’ decay.

KC has a lot of issues but they usually remain within well defined areas. Every few years you get things creeping out. There was a shooting in this same area just a month or two ago. It has been really quiet in downtown for several years.

Now Police Chief Stacey Graves…

1 dead

Many injured, don’t know how many

Police ran to danger

600 police on duty

She’s angry, she says

Hearts out to victims

Making sure safety is too

Follow X for updates

Sirens wailing now

10-15 injured, probably more

1 dead

Don’t know what prompted shooting

2 suspects in custody

Supposedly fans got involved in getting suspects

Happened at conclusion of rally on west side of Union Station

1 suspect pursued on foot

Investigation still active, very active

Know nothing about suspects

The fan with the white shirt and white hat didn't give up on the play. He tried to go high at first, then hawked down the perp from behind. Could have gotten a flag for Supermanning the pile with a late hit but I'll allow it. Someone buy white hat white shirt an IPA on me.

He’s upset and disappointed

He’s praying for victims

Let investigation play out

We had a large police presence they did an excellent job

Was in station when gunshots heard and he saw police immediately run to gunfire

Retaliation for Dizrespekt sometimes looks like a terrorist attack.

They will out Maga hats on the shooters and say they are out to get liberals.

Surprised the customary police shooting innocent man story hasn't hit yet this election cycle. It will. Stores will be looted by August.

Where do they think they’re at?

Mandeville?

I jest.

I knew that the NOLA crew would appreciate it.

BTW - Mandeville is awesome, as is the vast majority of the Northshore.

As for KC, I rather enjoyed my trip there. The World War I Museum was a great site to visit. This sucks that “some people did some things.”

ETA - prayers for the deceased and to the injured innocent bystanders.

To me, this should classified as domestic terrorism.

However, Joe and his goons are monitoring people purchasing bibles as in their mind that makes them terrorists.

I lived in suburban Saint Louis for 4 years- and loved it, but it wasn’t Home.

St. Louis is the last great eastern city, Kansas City is the first big western city. They are separated by over four hours away and could not be more different.
