good friend of mine, black dude, good dude on all fronts, but he is left.
i asked him this very question last friday and he said, but man, he said mexico was going to pay for it. not whether or not trump was trying to build the wall with zero support from either chamber, but because he said mexico would pay for it, it is his fault.

Trump never shut the border down, Trump never did any mass deportations, Trump never attempted to look into or end birthright citizenship, Mexico didn't pay for the wall etc. I'd call that failure.
