Tyler Texas is the only place where there’s a solid chance you can drink a beer with Pat Sr and then do a line with Johnny Manziel in the stalls of the same bar

How drunk was he? How many, if any, accidents has he been involved in. Qmost people have driven over the limit at least 3 times. Maybe Pat Sr is just unlucky.

You are not really understanding how plea agreements or sentencing work

I am sure Jr. bought him a car already, so get him a $72,000 per year driver, problem solved.

Wow, think of all the amazing story lines now the NFL has for when they fix the game for the Chiefs.

Kelce likely proposing to Swift. Pfizer getting good pub on the shot. All State getting payback for all the money they spent on ads. Mahomes overcoming the issues with his dad and brother.

It is going to be amazing post game. Tears will flow from young girls all over the US that have never watched football until a few months ago.

Look gonna need to pump those numbers up - it’s Super Bowl week.

Not on the scale of Barrett Robbins and Eugene Robinson

Man, you guys just don't let up with the tinfoil hat stuff, do you?

Look at the stats: Since Mahomes became QB1, the Chiefs have had six straight seasons where they were penalized more than their opponents. And last season, in Chiefs games where a TD was taken away on penalties? yep, AGAINST the Chiefs. And what about the blatant no-calls on obvious DPI in the Buffalo and Green Bay games that would have given KC a chance to win (they lost both games)?

Yep, the NFL has it in the bag for KC.

Geez, hate on them for being good, hate on them because you want to see someone else in the SB, hate on them because they're your rival or you just think they suck. I'm good with all that....

But stop with the NFL conspiracy theories, wouldja? They're juvenile and without any basis in fact.

Unless, of course, you're the kind of person that goes out of his way to see conspiracies that aren't there....

Every person judging this and wanting to throw the book at him has absolutely driven with more than .08 in their system, and absolutely have done that more than 3 times, you just haven’t been caught

If he has 3 DUI’s from getting caught in random checkpoints blowing 0.082 and violating no other traffic laws, I absolutely would have some sympathy.

If these were three stops for traffic violations where the police had probable cause to check for the DUI than I don’t have sympathy.

I'm just saying on your third in 10 years in Louisiana your going to do a year. IIRC it's a ten year sentence on the 4th

Don't they all have to be in the same jurisdiction for this to happen? I recall a few years ago, there was a guy that racked up his 20th DUI over his life. But he had them in Orleans, JP, St. Tammany..., so the timing between some of them in the same jurisdiction was allowing him to have multiple 1st offense DUI arrests/penalties.

I don’t know what the number should be, but at some point repeat drunk drivers should spend life in prison.

It is truly shocking to me how little some states give a frick about DUIs.

In GA there are a shitton of penalties for DUI but oneof htem is mandatory jail time even on your first offense. I repeat- a first offense DUI comes wiht a mandatory minimum amoutn of time in jail. And it obviously progresses up the more you have. WhenI see stories from states like Louisiana withpeople getting like 7, 8,9 DUIs it blows my mind. Like after your 3rd you shoudl be serving a legit serious amount of time behind bars. After 5 how can the state with a straight face allow you to continue driving?
