Saw in The Advocate we are getting one of these where SEARS was at the mall. Looks like a pretty cool concept

First Dick’s can suck their namesake.
Second, the tryout areas are a good concept. The problem is Dick’s like Cabela’s and Bass Pro care more about their bottom line than sending associates for training.
That’s why Scheel’s is kicking their asses. Scheel’s invests a ton in associate training and it shows when you speak to them about a product in their area.
The stuff Dock’s is doing store wise can be easily replicated knowledgeable associates apparently not.

Such an obvious ripoff of the Scheels model. Was in Scheels today and always think how much better it is than any other outdoor store. They absolutely have everything in there.
