If you live in SoCal, especially from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara counties, you need to prepare now for potentially damaging and life-threatening flooding Sun-Monday.

3-7 inches of rain is forecast for coasts and valleys, with up to 6-15 inches possible in the mountains.

However, some of our best models show up to 6-12 inches could fall along the coast, with isolated amounts of 20+ inches in the mountains.

Even if the higher-end model projections don't pan out, it is best to start preparing now because current forecast amounts would still lead to significant, potentially deadly flooding.

@NWSLosAngeles said: "This storm could end up
generating unprecedented amounts of rain across a widespread area!"

Maybe it’ll wash away the progressive filth out of California.

My son is stationed at Camp Pendleton. That little tropical storm they had ended up being a big nothing burger. He hasn't said anything about a rainstorm coming. It’s been weird weather in So Cal the last 12 months. Last time I was out there at the end of September it was rainy on and off all week which is unusual.

At least all the homeless don't have to worry about their house getting flooded.

Droves of Aggies are reportedly descending upon Oxnard hoping to get the 7.8 inches.

Learn to swim, learn to swim

'Cause I'm praying for rain
I'm praying for tidal waves
I wanna see the ground give way
I wanna watch it all go down

Mom, please flush it all away
I wanna see it go right in and down
I wanna watch it go right in
Watch you flush it all away

I’m sure they’ll drain those reservoirs down so they can continue to receive the drought assistance from the feds.

It is known that California receives extremely catastrophic floods every 100-200 years, yet officials have buried their head in the sand. Building infrastructure for a once in a lifetime event does not get you re-elected.

That is one of the most important lessons I learned from the Dutch after Katrina. The Dutch Deltaworks project ignored short term political gain for the long term survival of their country.

I’m just wondering how this will affect Taylor Swift getting to the Super Bowl.
